The equation “the whole world + the work = the whole world” said by Creed, and the scope of this artist's work is vast and unfathomable. Undoubtedly, Creed is conscious of the context of the history of painting when he draws, but in fact it is nothing more than to just show a lightness of extracting and arranging its essence. In this work, the basic colors of red, yellow, blue, and green, as well as their intermediate colors are being layered like a rainbow (too rough to describe as a rainbow). There is no intention to showcase a color composition through stripes or compositions. If one were to point out distinctive features, it would be the strong horizontal strokes and the brightness of colors. Creed's works are sometimes described as Conceptual Art or Abject Art. As genres, they are at the opposite extremes, yet Creed covers both sides effortlessly. The more elusive a work like this is, the more difficult it becomes to find out the answer to which aspect of Creed's creativity has expressed. However, it can rather be said that the real pleasure of Creed's work is in accepting and confronting these difficulties.
