This work is extremely large in scale. Macarrón depicts casts of peculiar, deformed characters in his works. Though this work particularly exhibits its contrasting properties as he depicts relatively small characters on an enormous canvas. Each character is unique despite the large-scale canvas. Macarrón had obviously been meticulously plotting each character's personality, facial expression, posture, role, and all other aspects while depicting. In terms of the composition, this work portrays countless characters drifting from a planet towards a celestial body which seems to be a red asteroid. When viewed from a distance, it looks as if a giant plant is growing branches and leaves. Comical scenes are unraveled here and there throughout the painting, exemplifying Macarrón’s typical bustle worldview. It is also particularly noteworthy that the figuration of the characters is enhanced. The upper portion of this work is entirely covered with the red celestial body, appearing as if it has been extracted from the body of an asteroid. In addition, several deformed craters are depicted on the blue planet at the bottom of the work and developed into deep pockets. As one peek through, one will discover that several mysterious characters are concealed within.
