As with many of Weiner’s other works, the size and manner of installation are left to those responsible for its display, although the colors are specified. “BY” leaps upward above the line of text as if pushed out by the caret (proofreading mark). The work’s overall convex silhouette reinforces the upward pull. When Weiner’s words appear in the clear blue of an open sky rather than the gray of cloud cover, they recall that blue sky always stretches above the clouds hanging heavily overhead.
