It is very difficult for the viewers to follow the extremely complicated production process of Frize’s works. Painting is a method of expression with many basic limitations. A painting normally must be fitted into a rectangular canvas, and the use of paint requires knowledge and technical skills. However, the history of painting has come through a rich development by breaking down and transcending such limitations.
