This work is based on the last photo of Yoko Ono and John Lennon taken together by photographer Kishin Shinoyama, which was also the cover of the album “Double Fantasy” created by the couple. Lennon was shot to death within a month after the release of the album. The title of this work is taken from a line of the song 『KISS KISS KISS』in the album. Kiss is the proof of love and peace. Despite the long history of mankind when science, medical science and thoughts have all advanced today, the battle against illness has not been over, and war is still endlessly raging. Yoko and Lennon’s past advocacy of ending conflicts still has not come true. This work is Mitobe’s condemnation of society.
