The surface of a polished brass panel is divided horizontally into two color fields. The upper section retains its pristine shine, while the lower half has been corroded with a solution, revealing patches of verdigris. The brass panel is made according to the golden ratio (1:1.618), a proportion frequently found in nature. The world still contains vast realms beyond the reach of human understanding. Heaven and earth, light and darkness, this world and the world beyond. What divides this brass panel that embodies the golden ratio, a symbol of the incomparable vastness? Is this division, or perhaps integration? The work invites endless contemplation.
