This is a reasonably faithful reproduction of the background of Leonardo da Vinci’s "Mona Lisa," except that the central figure is conspicuously absent. The continuation of the landscape, which is hidden behind the figure in the original, has been filled in through unnatural repetitions that make the image look as though it had been stretched by copying and pasting. The snow-like white particles scattered across the entire composition are another element not found in the original. Imazu quotes and fuses various images together with their associated contexts within the painting.
