One of the first two series of prints by Yayoi Kusama, who is one of the most admired female artists in the world. She started with this work in 1979, along with another series of prints “Standing in the Visionary Field”. Kusama has then created hundreds of prints, all of which are highly praised globally. Shoes (high heels) are considered one of Kusama’s most important motifs and were seen in her early paperwork and soft sculptures, as well as many other works that she produced until this day. This work features shoe embedded with net-like depiction, and it is obviously an “Infinity Net”.
