This work is a multiple produced to accompany the collector’s edition of “METAMORPHOSIS,” a collection of Nawa’s works over more than 10 years. The original version of this work is an outdoor public art installation that reaches five meters in height located at Toyosu Front (3-2-30 Toyosu, Tokyo). The “Velvet” series features works in which objects’ surfaces have been covered with a gentle fuzzy texture, reminiscent of a fungus or moss.
