In this piece, a square is depicted on a square canvas. The composition is extremely simple and perfectly balanced. However, the most remarkable aspect is the coloration - the pearly green and pink tones are never fixed. If the viewer looks at it from a certain angle, it appears to be green, yet if the person moves one step away, the same area will appear pink. Inconsistent colors provide a color field painting effect and at the same time abolish its static nature.
