The title is perhaps akin to “A Delightful Drawing Game.” Facing the large white canvas, the viewer feels as though they are being engulfed by the vast blank space. The lines, circles, triangles, and squares in various colors are reminiscent of some kind of symbol or blueprint. The rhythmic composition contains a subtle musicality, similar to works by Paul Klee and Wassily Kandinsky. As this was one of the largest works within a series of pieces focusing on myths and constellations and displayed as a centerpiece in Fox’s 2022 solo exhibition “Endgeister,” presumably, the work’s theme follows that thread. Like a constellation, formed by connecting dots, the artwork explores abstract expressionism that is evoked more by the forms, created by playful compositions of irregular colors and shapes, than by geometric coherence.
